Does Options Log connect to my broker automatically?

No. Options Log uses manual entry only. You log your trades yourself, which keeps the app simple, private, and broker-independent.

What types of options does it support?

Options Log is designed for long options — Calls and Puts. It is not designed for spreads, covered calls, or other multi-leg strategies.

Is there a subscription fee?

No. Options Log is a one-time purchase. Pay once, own it forever.

How do I back up my trades?

On iOS, your trades automatically sync via iCloud across all your Apple devices. You can also export a full backup from the Settings screen and save it to Files, iCloud Drive, or share it via AirDrop.

How do I restore my trades on a new device?

Go to Settings → Restore from Backup, select your previously exported file, and your full trade history will be restored.

How are my statistics calculated?

Tap Stats Overview in the Settings screen for a full explanation of how each metric is calculated, including Win Rate, Profit Factor, and Average Gain.

What does the commission setting do?

You can set a per-contract commission fee in Settings. This fee is applied both at entry and exit (round-trip) and is factored into your net P&L calculations.
